It was awesome fun for everyone! We raised over £620 for the RNLI.

In fact, it was so epic that it's going to be an annual event!

Special thanks to the following:

  • Tinpixel - www.tinpixel.co.uk For designing, updating and hosting the webiste (www.whitbypirateday.co.uk). Tinpixel is a graphic and internet design company based in Yarm in the North East of England and we were so grateful for such a great company to donate their time, money and expertise to this cause.

  • North East Live - www.northeastlive.net and www.myspace.com/clandestinemedia For organising all the fantastic bands which played on the day. Angie and John Todd from North East Live played such a pivotal role in ensuring the day was a success. They also took loads of great pictures on the day and even dressed up as pirates!
